.::Updates::.

Whoa busy busy weekend.

Here are some pix (all have been resized to 20% of the original size i'm afraid) i shot for the events at the Surau yesterday featuring the ever so concerned Assoc Prof Yaacob Ibrahim.

Approximately 3:30pm: The the arrival of the MP of Jalan Besar constituency, Assoc Prof Yaacob Ibrahim.

The opening cermony. Prof Yaacob opening the HUGE lock of the HUGE porridge pot.

Prof Yaacob pouring the porridge into individual plastic bags for the residents.

Prof Yaacob: "Dari mana?"
Me: "Dari surau."
Prof Yaacob: "Wah! Surau pun ade photographer?!!"
Me: Beams

Group photo. My mom in green scarf. =)

The volunteers from our surau giving out the porridge to the residents. Notice the long queue.

A picture says a thousand words. So does he...

From left: Mom, Little girl, my sisters Liza and SyaSya and Nyai!!!

And last but not least, the very hardworking photographer of the day...ME!!!

The Kolam Ayer Community Center guy saw me with my Canon 300D and 550EX(that's credit to Haz, thanks again hun) and requested for my photos.
He said he was gonna email it to the Malay newspaper editorial team of Berita Harian.
Fuyoh!!!
And he was so impressed with my shots he even offered me to be the official photographer for upcoming events held by the Kolam Ayer CC.
I have a career in photography!
Kudos to me!
Ok ok too over...

And that night Haz told me he got a job covering for an event too.
It's some SingTel roadshow i was told.
I think it must be located at the Singapore Post building coz i recieved an sms by SingTel a few days back regarding this event.
Good for you hun.
And thanks to Goh for asking him along.

I was chatting with Lizah, an old poly mate who just recently got married and guess what?!
We started planning for hari raya outings. HAHAHA!
Does that show eagerness or what!
And what the heck i'm so ON!
In fact i had planned to have an open house at my place.
Coz previous hari raya outings seem to be tiring.
Travelling to EACH house the whole of Singapore.
We couldn't even cover all houses of those present in the outing.
So i improvised.
Thus the open house.
Looking forward to the RSVPs. =P
